GROENEWEGEN, Leslie-Anne - Surrounded by her family at Hospice Prince Edward on August 24th, her 72nd birthday, Leslie-Anne was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven. Dear daughter of the late John and Alberta Shelton. Beloved wife and best friend of Arnold Groenewegen of 39 years. Loving mother of Lisa Lund (Darren), Cher Norris (Todd) and Jonathan Groenewegen (Karen). Dearly loved by her grandchildren: Dylan, Victoria, Colin, Olivia and Noah. Sadly missed by siblings John (Linda), Gregory (Gwyn), Janice (Neil), Larry (Evelyn), Stephen (Anne), Ronald (Cathy) and Valinda (Bruce), as well as her many nieces and nephews and extended family in Holland. Leslie-Anne was a gifted songwriter and blessed others with her beautiful singing voice. She had a creative spirit and enjoyed crocheting, baking and cooking. She was a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother, and caring and beloved friend to many. She was a devoted follower of Jesus and loved her church family at Maranatha in Belleville.
