Beloved son of Samuel and Marlene Clements passed away suddenly in his home in Orillia on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021. David was born in Trenton (Quinte West) on April 3, 1971, the youngest of six siblings: Marie Clements-Baker (J.C.), Evelyn Wilson (Brent), John (predeceased 1973), Joseph (Angie), and Sarah Whaley (Chris). David loved his nieces Angie, Jacqui, Emily, Katie (predeceased 2011), Abbey, Grace, Annabelle, and nephews Jordan, John, Nolan, Sam, and William and he was well loved and appreciated by them. He was particularly helpful with advice about computers. David grew up in Trenton, made lifelong friends there. A childhood friend, Rev. Daniel Winter, will conduct the graveside service. David participated with distinction in several sports, eventually favouring rugby above others. David was a police call taker and dispatcher for the Ontario Provincial Police. He was an exceptional Communicator and made an immeasurable contribution to public safety. He cared deeply about his OPP family and was very proud of his work.
A private Graveside Service will be held at Whites Cemetery, Bayside.
