Obituary of Margaret "Ellen" Stevenson

Please share a memory of Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

In Belleville, on October 20th, 2021. Ellen Stevenson, 88, was welcomed into heaven and joyously reunited with Gerald, the love of her life and husband of 50 years, and her beloved parents, Keith and Clara Young.  She was devoted to her faith, her family, the church, and her friends through a lifetime of Christian ministry and service.  Gerald and Ellen pastored churches in Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia and served as missionaries in Kenya and Malawi.

Blessed with a loving family, Ellen was a proud mother of daughter Heather (Brent) Seres and beloved son Tim (Colleen) of Kampala, Uganda. Loving grandmother of Megan (Anant), Emily (Graeme), Tiffany (Morgan), Natasha (Matthew), Jesse and Logan (Jessica), and great grandmother to five precious treasures.

Survived by her dear brother, Rev. Earl Young & wife Sandy of Sarasota, Florida. Lovingly remembered by the extended Stevenson family and many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the wonderful staff of Westgate Lodge in Belleville for their consistently compassionate care for Ellen, especially over the past several months.
