John Vasiliou (a.k.a Yianni), in his 88th year, of Brighton, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. Son of late Nikolaos and Fotini. Beloved husband of Vaso. Loving father of Faye (Peter) and Nicole (Dennis). Proud grandfather of William-Yianni, Vaso (John), Niki (Mario), Ioanna and Angelina. Proud great grandfather of Evi and Tino. John is survived by his sister, Maria. He is predeceased by his brother Dimitri and his sister Vaso. He is fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. John was retired from his life-long career as an Electrician. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his family at his cottage in Brighton and at his homes in Toronto and Kiato, Greece. The simplest pleasures of life such as painting, taking long drives and travelling brought the greatest joy to John. He especially loved his grandchildren who will strive to honour his memory by living their lives to the fullest. He had a tremendous impact on those who knew him. His sense of humour, wit and vibrant smile was infectious. He was a selfless human being who never let anyone down. We are all just a little better for having John in our lives.
