Ronda "Ronnie" Way

Obituary of Ronda "Ronnie" Alta Way

Please share a memory of Ronda "Ronnie" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronda Alta Way on Sunday, September 18, 2022, in her 80th year.

“Ronnie” was a resident of Bridge Street Retirement, just having recently moved from Kitchener Ontario.  Ronda was the ninth and the youngest child of the late Jack Way and Velma Peeling, both of West Lake. She was never married nor had children of her own, but was an “Auntie” to thirteen nieces and nephews, and a great aunt many times over. She was vehemently independent, had a great sense of humour, and was a self-taught food critic. She loved her family deeply and embraced all people openly.

She will remain in our hearts.

We express our sincere gratitude to the staff and residents of Bridge Street Retirement Residence for their kindness, care, and friendship during her brief stay.

A private inurnment will take place at a later date.

All our love,
