Obituary of Jane Hilda Cameron

Cameron, Jane Hilda – peacefully with her family at her side, at the Belmont Long Care Facility, on Tuesday August 6th, 2019 in her 71st year. Daughter of the late Russell and Margaret Ruttan. Beloved wife of Gary Cameron. Dear mother of Michelle (Chris) Bonneau of Oregon, U.S.A. and Geoffrey Cameron of Belleville. Grandmother of Tessy, Orianna, Rayne, Harmony, Devon, Jazzy and great granddaughter Charlotte. Dear sister of Mary O’Brien, Paul (Gail) Ruttan and Michelle (David) Ogden. Predeceased by brother Allan Ruttan and sister Joan (Paul) Munns. Remembered by sister in law Carmel Ruttan. Jane loved reading, and took up golf later in life, loving the game and the friend’s she met. A special thank-you to the management and staff at the Belmont in which for over a year, these people were a part of Jane’s and our family. We cannot thank the Belmont staff (Green Acres) enough for Jane’s care over her time there. Another special thank-you to Avita Baskin for being such a good friend to Jane, over her time at the Belmont. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service, on Thursday August 15th, 2019 at 11.00 a.m. at the Belleville Cemetery (Niche Wall) and immediately following, everyone is invited to the Steele Family Centre, 20 Moira Street West, Belleville for a time of fellowship. If desired, Memorial donations to The Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements in the care of Steele Funeral Home, (613-968-2273) Belleville.

Immediately following the graveside service, everyone is invited to the Steele Family Centre, 20 Moira Street West, Belleville, for a time of fellowship. The Steele Family Centre is located adjacent to the Steele Funeral Home.
