Obituary of Russell Thomas Boldrick

Boldrick, Russell Thomas – A Proud Navy Veteran, passed away peacefully at QHC – Belleville General Hospital on Monday, December 30, 2019, after a long and independent life, in his 98th year. He was the last surviving of nine children born to Ellen and John Boldrick of Plainfield. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Doris Helena (nee Atkins). Dear dad of Nancy (John) Puddy and Maureen (Bill) Gardner. Loving and much loved Bapa to Sean (Michelle), Meagan (Brad), Melissa and Cassie (Morgan), and G. Bapa of Emily, Mason, Alison, Levi, Natalie, Helena, Lauren and Holly. He is fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews especially Carol and Perry Chafe. The family extend their endless gratitude to Faith and Yolanda for their kindness and care over the past 15 years as well as to many other caregivers and his good neighbour, Sue. The Funeral Service will be held at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273) on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with the family receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment to follow at Belleville Cemetery. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
