A registered nurse, Pauline practiced at the Hospital de Chicoutimi before her marriage and later worked as both a geriatric and school nurse in Ontario when she resumed her nursing career in the 1980’s. An accomplished athlete she was a champion tennis player, and avid swimmer and skier and lover of outdoor pursuits. She was also a dedicated Girl Guide during her teens. She lived her life simply while enthusiastically giving of herself to others. Amongst her numerous volunteer endeavors she was a devoted member of the Catholic Women’s League. She was a supporter of the arts, and a gifted craftswoman, being a member of the Quinte Weaver’s Guild. A proud and strong Quebecoise, she was always a fierce champion of her family and an exemplary citizen of her adopted city of Belleville, Ontario.

The family wishes particularly to thank the kind and dedicated staff of the Belmont who cared for Pauline during her time there.

A Private Mass will be celebrated at The Church of St. Michael the Archangel, Belleville, on Tuesday, October 20th, 2020.  Donations to the Gleaners Food Bank, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated.
