Robert, a lifelong resident of Hastings County, passed away at QHC-Belleville General Hospital on Friday, January 8, 2021. He is predeceased by his parents, first cousins and his beloved pets, Rosie the 25-pound calico cat and Moreover the black lab.
He is survived by his sisters, good friends, nephews and nieces.
Over the years, he worked at Steven Adamson and raised cattle, bees, rabbits and poultry. He even exhibited the chickens at the Royal Winter Fair.
He was as an amateur ham radio operator, a member of toastmasters, the church and the Quinte Sports Wellness Centre. Robert loved a good auction sale and taking continuing education classes at Loyalist College, including learning to play the guitar and upholstery.
Robert was a kind and caring gentleman who provided support to many, especially his parents and aunts. He will be missed by all.
